it is wasteful to do things like this when you could be doing more useful
things like studying.
[AH KOW moves towards CHIN.]
Ah Kow: So I gather that you wish to die? Fine. I will grant you that wish since you
do not wish to co-operate with us and have a longer life instead.
[AH KOW draws out dagger and slowly walks towards CHIN.]
Ah Chye: Wait! We do not have to kill him kill him! He’s innocent! We could
threaten him with something so that we will he does not to inform the
police… right? Also, we had agreed before the execution of the kidnap
that it does not involve killing anyone in cold blood, and let alone an old
man.
Ah Ngow: Yea! He did not do anything wrong. Besides, we can give him a very strict
warning to keep him from telling the police like threatening to kill
someone who is very important to him like his wife for instance. Also, he
is right. We do have a bright future ahead of us and we do not have to ruin
it by killing him.
Ah Kow: No. He will have to die. I cannot risk him informing the police once we
releases him.
[AH KOW draws out his dagger from his pocket and tries to stab his prisoner to death. However, AH NGOW springs out from a corner and in front of the prisoner, hoping to stop the dagger on time but was too late. The dagger stabs AH NGOW instead of the prisoner]
